REDDjobb: A North Carolina-based communications and training organization established in 2012 by Glenn Proctor, Certified Professional Coach, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, retired newspaper editor, mental health advocate and instructor and Marine Corps gunnery sergeant/Vietnam Veteran.
Our Mission: To provide a menu of strategic communications services, leadership training, confidential coaching and creative writing workshops for all ages and experience levels and events for authors to showcase their work.
What Is Coaching? Coaching is a professional service and an investment. A good relationship is priceless. Good coaches look for measurable results. Coaching is a two-sided commitment. Coaches ask hard questions, but the are not psychologists or psychiatrists. Coaches help design change plans and hold client-partners accountable. Defensive people can't be coached. Coaches provide uncomfortable feedback. Listening is learning. Letting go is change. Understanding change is progress. Friends, partners, spouses and co-workers may be too close to situations and not provide essential information for motivation and change.
